Senior Product Data Analyst

Responsibilities
We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Product Data Analyst to join our Product team and drive data-informed decision-making across Katalon’s product suite. In this role, you’ll go beyond reporting - you’ll uncover deep insights, influence product direction, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape a world-class SaaS product.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Engineering, RevOps) to define, track, and refine key product metrics.
- Lead deep-dive analyses on user behavior, conversion funnels, onboarding, and retention to uncover actionable insights.
- Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to validate product hypotheses and measure the impact of new features.
- Build and maintain self-serve dashboards and KPI reporting frameworks using BI and product analytics tools.
- Ensure accurate event tracking by collaborating with engineering and product teams on data instrumentation (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude).
- Drive product strategy by identifying growth opportunities, friction points, and user segments through behavioral data.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Contribute to a culture of data literacy and experimentation across the Product organization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics).
- 5+ years of experience in product or data analytics, ideally within a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
- Proficient in SQL and Python/R for data analysis.
- Strong experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Proven ability to run A/B tests and analyze experimental results.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills - you can distill complex data into clear, impactful narratives.
- Comfortable working independently and influencing cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
